Who can hire the Grange? For private events such as family celebrations, special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays etc. It cannot be hired for commercial and paying events. Events that are public and commercial are not permitted at the Grange.

What is the pricing for Saturday Hire? £600 for minimum hire of 5 hours. Any additional hours after that are at £50 per hour.

What are the hire times? – 9am-11pm. If you are hiring until 11pm, you must vacate the premises and car park by 11pm.

What charges will I incur if event goes beyond finish time? – You will be charged £120.00 per hr.

What is included in the hire price? e.g., chairs etc. – There are 40 (banquet style chairs) & 35 folding chairs . There are 9 rectangular folding tables (6 ft x 2.5 ft). Oh and the car park!

Are we allowed to bring drinks and a bit of food? – Yes, there is a kitchen where you can store and warm up food. Cooking is not allowed in the kitchen nor on the premises

What is the deposit required to secure the venue and when by? – Deposit of £250 to secure the venue on completion of the booking form.

Are there any restrictions or extra charges with your Venue? – Yes, please see our booking terms & conditions.

Are we allowed to take photos outdoors? – Yes, the garden comes with the hire.

When will the remaining balance have to be paid by if we were to secure the venue with a deposit? – 2 weeks prior to the event.

Music – You can play music outside in the garden up to 8pm. Please be considerate of our neighbours. Your music must not be audible outside our venue/property.

Confetti – The use of paper, plastic or metallic confetti, party poppers, silly string and similar decorations is strictly forbidden within the building or the grounds of the Grange. Full deposits will be retained in the event any items of this variety are used. Biodegradable Confetti Only can be used in the garden. It is the Hirer’s responsibility to inform guests of these conditions.

Cleaning – We expect the hirer to clean up and hand back the venue as they found it. If not then a £75.00 will be deducted from their deposit.
